Dear Monsignor Michael O'Leary Community,
I am truly honored to join you as Principal starting October 15. It feels like a full-circle moment for me, as I began my teaching journey here as a student teacher in 1990. After spending 33 years with the York Catholic District School Board, including 11 years in school administration, I am thrilled to return and collaborate with such a dedicated group of educators, students, and families.
My experiences have allowed me to foster innovation and leadership in various educational settings, and I’m eager to bring that passion to our community.
As an Ordained Permanent Deacon with the Archdiocese of Toronto, my commitment to Catholic education and the Church is deeply ingrained in my life. I actively contribute to St. Mary’s Parish in Barrie through preaching, administering sacraments, and visiting hospitals and nursing homes.
I look forward to getting to know each of you and embarking on this exciting journey together at Monsignor Michael O'Leary School.
