Valentine's Day celebrated Feb. 13 this year at MMO

In response to Wednesday February 14th being Ash Wednesday ( start of Lent 2018 ) staff has decided to celebrate valentines day with class celebrations on Tuesday Feb. 13th.
As is our tradition on Shrove Tuesday, we will enjoy a pancake lunch together as a school community ( thanks to the school community council ) and then distribute valentines, have classroom celebrations and peanut free treats. If you can help cook pancakes, transport from DOMS, or serve, please let your child's teacher know.
Ash Wednesday Feb. 14 will be marked by a Mass at 2 PM with the distribution of ashes to mark the first day of Lent. All are welcome to join us in the gym.
